Circulus aquae
Circulus aquae, etiam circulus hydrologicus appellatus, est circulus biogeochemicus, qui continuum aquae motum in, supra, infraque superficiem telluris describit. Massa aquae in tellure stabilis fere manet, sed distributio aquae inter maiores receptacula (glaciem, aquam dulcem, salsam, atmosphaericam) aliquantulum variat, multis mutationis climaticae variabilibus innitens. Aqua ab alio ad alium receptaculum movetur, ut a flumine ad oceanum et ab oceano ad atmosphaeram, per certas rationes physicas, praecipue evaporationem, condensationem, praecipitationem, infiltrationem, exsiccationem superficialem, fluxionem subterraneum. Aqua sic movens varias habet formas, inter quas liquidum, solidum, et vapor.
