Ioannes VIII Palaeologus (Graece Ἰωάννης Παλαιολόγος; natus die 18 Decembris 1392; mortuus die 31 Octobris 1448) fuit imperator Byzantinus ab anno 1425 usque ad mortem. Fuit filius imperatoris Manuelis II quem ex uxore Helena Dragase genuit.
