Quomodo impones discas apud Communia hic (Anglice). Vide etiam Vicipaedia:Imago et Vicipaedia:Imagines imponere. Iterum gratias ob tuam contributionem, et tempore apud Vicipaediam Latinam fruere!

Thank you for uploading images. Please upload images not to the Latin Wikipedia, but to Commons. Images uploaded there can be used by all Wikimedia projects - some 9 projects in 250 different languages! - just as if they were uploaded locally, but if you only upload here, only we can use them. Instructions for uploading into commons can be found here. See Vicipaedia:Imago and Vicipaedia:Imagines imponere, also. Thank you for contributing, and have fun on the Latin Vicipaedia!

Please see Vicipaedia:Movere. --Rolandus 06:58, 12 Februarii 2007 (UTC)Reply

Don't worry. For the reader it makes no difference. But "movere" has advantages: It keeps the page history and it is more comfortable than moving manually. It even moves the talk page automatically. However, it does not work, if the target is an existing page. Then the target has to be deleted first. --Rolandus 20:35, 12 Februarii 2007 (UTC)Reply

reddenda recensere

Please, if possible, avoid to use {{latinitas|reddenda}} because it is not clear what is meant: Litterally it means "non latine", however, in 99 out of 100 cases it is used like "maxcorrigenda" (or a better level). Please use a level from {{latinitas|-7}} to {{latinitas|+5}} or levels from {{latinitas|non latine}} to {{latinitas|optima}}. Pages in Categoria:Latinitas -7 (reddenda) need a re-rating ... mostly. --Rolandus 21:37, 12 Martii 2007 (UTC)Reply

de figura paginae primae recensere

Salve Zephyre. A few of us were discussing the layout and content of our pagina prima, and some expressed desire to rehaul it. This might include color changes, content changes, layout changes, and who knows what else. Could you join the discussion at Disputatio:Pagina prima/Nova? Give us a list of things you want a main page to have, what you dont want a main page to have, and what specifically you might think to do differently with ours. We will then try to come up with a design that meets as many of these requests as possible, based on content from everyone. Thanks, and regards.--Ioshus (disp) 20:34, 3 Iunii 2007 (UTC)Reply

File:Tabula geographica civitatum CC. FF parva.png recensere

Hello. I was wondering why File:Tabula geographica civitatum CC. FF parva.png was deleted. Secundus Zephyrus (talk) 02:23, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

That is because it is a duplicate (reducted) of File:Tabula geographica civitatum CC. FF.png. The policy is to keep the largest map, the 959×593 has been suppressed, because the 1,280 × 792 pixels, is preferred. The supression was asked for by "19:21, 19 May 2009 commons:user:Common Good". If you need the file to be (temporarily?) restored, that can be done. Vale in pace. Micheletb 06:19, 22 Maii 2009 (UTC)Reply

Formulas in taxoboxes etc. recensere

Thank you for working on formulas in taxoboxes, etc.! Note that formulas like "Subordo" and "Superfamilia" are also not working; a couple of weeks ago, I put some notes on such things in Taberna. ¶ The next thing one wonders is if we can't have more particular signs for stipulas than "zoologia-stipula." En: breaks that down into stipulas for classes (fishes, birds, etc.), and even stipulas for certain orders, such as en:Perciformes. If we did that for Vicipaedia, the current

Haec stipula ad zoologiam spectat. Amplifica, si potes!

, showing a ladybug, would be perfect for the Coleoptera, of which 350,000 species have been described, and an estimated 5,000,000 to 7,500,000 more remain to be described. That's a lot of stipulas for just one order of classis insectorum! IacobusAmor 18:25, 15 Decembris 2009 (UTC)Reply

You're welcome! I will see what I can do after I finish the fossil range template. It was working just fine, but when I tried to change the links to Latin, the whole thing crashed. But I'm on winter break now, and have all the free time in the world ;) --SECUNDUS ZEPHYRUS 18:36, 15 Decembris 2009 (UTC)Reply
Oops. After thanking you elsewhere, I find that something is wrong with "Formula:Taxobox/species." You'll see that notice printed out at the top of Exyrias akihito and other articles that use the taxobox. IacobusAmor 14:14, 16 Decembris 2009 (UTC)Reply

Should'nt Bambi II, The Aristocats, and Oliver & Company be in this category? There're all protected from editing. I want to know too: Charlotte's Web translates as Tela Charlottae while Charlotte's Web (pellicula 2006) translates as Aranea Carolinae. So what should Charlotte's Web (pellicula 1973) be? Plot recensere

The film opens up in springtime, about a year after Charlotte has passed on. Charlotte's three daughters, Joy, Aranea and Nellie, are now in the stages of adolescence, with Wilbur serving as a companion and mentor.

During this time, Wilbur befriends Cardigan, a newborn lamb that is looked down upon by the other lambs and the younger sheep of his flock because he has black wool. Wilbur takes Cardigan under his wing and shows him the farm, the ways of animal life, and dangers to look out for.

However, after only a few weeks, Zuckerman suddenly sells Cardigan to another farmer, so Wilbur, along with Charlotte's daughters and Templeton the Rat, set out to visit Cardigan and make sure he's okay.

Thank you recensere

for the lovely message! I'm very happy to hear my little contributions are appreciated.

I've heard of "1000 pages." To be honest, I prefer working on the things that interest me most, to make Latin as fun as possible. Since I'm self-teaching, it's too easy to lose interest and simply stop doing it, y'know? But, I'll definitely take a look and hopefully draft something this evening, just because you took the time to tell me about it :)

Pointing out that I have typos isn't being mean! In fact, I greatly appreciate it - but, with the current quality of my Latin, I can't find them. Gimme a hint? Mattie 04:18, 29 Iunii 2010 (UTC)Reply

Ah, thanks, I made the changes. Quandod is an archaic form of quando (as a purist, in my mind, older is always better). But I changed it anyway. Mattie 01:35, 2 Iulii 2010 (UTC)Reply

illae mille paginae recensere

Salve, Secunde Zephyre! When you get a chance, could you update your useful 1000-pages size list? It's been 6 months, which seems like a reasonable interval between updates; the list has changed and we've made some progress -- so we can congratulate ourselves, and figure out what are the next pages to work on. No hurry, though, since I think only a handful of us are obsessing about the 1000-page score these days! A. Mahoney 22:48, 29 Octobris 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you: this is useful. And congratulations on graduating! I'm working on a similar list myself, primarily as an exercise in how to write a bot (since a read-only bot is quite safe to experiment with), but yours is the True Original Page Size Tool, deserving of all fame and glory. Now to work on some more articles! A. Mahoney 18:58, 6 Novembris 2011 (UTC)Reply
