Taoismus (Mandarinice 道教 vel 道家 ; pinyin dàojiào vel dàojiā) est una ex nonnullarum cognatarum philosophiae religionisque memoriarum vel notionum Sinensium quae vivere congruenter cum Tao (道) vehementer dicunt, fonte et necessario omnium exstantium, quae Asiam Orientalem plus quam duo milia annorum movent et inter nationes manaverunt (Miller 2003:ix).
