Rubus (fructus)
Rubus, interdum morum et morum silvaticum, est fructus, quem aliqui frutices generis Rubi ferunt; saepius fructus Rubi caesii et Rubi fruticosi sic nominantur (sed non Rubi idaei).[1] Drupae sunt polypyrenae. Colore mutantur dum maturescunt: primo albi, postea rosei et purpurei sunt, donec maturi lividi et paene nigri fient.

Flores vere maturo primaque aestate in racemis ad laterales ramulorum florentium apices generantur.[2] Quisque flos a duobus ad tria centimetra latus est, quinque petalis albis vel roseis pallidis.[2]
