Miratio est brevis mentis et corporis affectio, responsum terrendi(en) quod animalia et homines experiuntur exitus eventús improvisi. Mirationi ulla valentia(en) psychologica esse potest, vel media vel modica, aut iucunda aut inucunda, aut positiva aut negativa. Miratio post stimulum sensum in variis virium gradibus fieri potest, ab admiratione maxima, quae responsum pugnandi aut volandi(en), ad admirationem minimam, quae responsum haud grave inducere potest. Fons origove mirationis vel res quae mirationem efficit metonymice mirum appellatur.
