Rutinum (a ruta, praecipue Ruta graveolente, planta quae rutinum continet), etiam rutosida et quercetinum-3-O-rutinosida et sophorinum appellatum, est glycosidum quod quercetinum flavonolum et rutinosum disaccharidum (α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranosum) coniungit. Quod est flavonoidum in permultis plantis inventum, inter quas insigniter plantae generis Citri. Eius nomen IUPAC est 3′,4′,5,7-Tetrahydroxy-3-[α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranosyloxy]flavonum.

Rutinum est glycosidum flavonoidicum in permultis plantis inventa, inter quas Fagopyrum esculentum,[1] folia petiolique specierum rheubarbari, et asparagus. Rutinum est unum ex primariis flavonolis in Prunis persicis cultivarietatum "clingstone" inventis.[2] Etiam in infusionibus theae viridis invenitur.[3]

Rutinum est unum e compositis phenolicis in Carpobroto eduli, specie invasiva, inventis.

Investigatores se rutinum in matalafi (Psychotria insularum), planta in Samoa endemica, invenisse anno 2021 nuntiaverunt.[4]
