Odoratus
Odoratus, vel laxe olfactio, est sensus per quem odores percipiuntur.[1] Odoratui sunt multa munera, inter quae pericula invenienda, et pheromona, ac partes in gustatu agunt.
Odoratio fit cum odor cum receptore proprio intra cavo nasali colligetur, signum per systema olfactorium transmittens.[2] Glomeruli signa ex his receptoribus aggregant et ad bulbum olfactorium transmittunt, ubi initus sensorius cum memoria et animi motu, partibus cerebri quae odores agnoscunt, interagere incipiunt.[3]
