Mare Iavanicum[1] (Iavanice Laut Jawa) est latum mare tenue super Pluteum Sundensem iacens. In Indonesia inter Borneum septentriones versus, Iavam meridiem versus, Sumatram occidentem versus, et Sulavesiam orientem versus patet, cum Mari Sinensi Australi a Freto Karimata septentriones occidentemque versus coniunctum. Marginalis Oceani Pacifici occidentals pars est.[2][3]
