I blocked you for a moment because you are making a small mess. There is a proper way to move pages, and that isn't it. I'll unblock you in a minute -- I'll just put things right first. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 09:19, 24 Octobris 2009 (UTC)
- OK, I've unblocked you now. It was 5 minutes longer than I intended, because my mother-in-law has lost her glasses and everything had to stop while we looked for them. Sorry.
- First, if you want to move a page, anyone who has been a user longer than 4 days can do this by clicking the tab "Movere/Move" at the top of the page. It must be done this way, because this way the history stays with the page. If you copy-and-paste, you lose the history.
- Second, since you asked the question on the talk page only a few hours ago, you might have waited for a reply! We can certainly move to "Ratae Corieltauvorum" if you find a reliable source for that name and if it seems that's the best name to use. It's not obvious, because we are not an Ancient Roman encyclopaedia and many people have called this city Leicestria. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 09:32, 24 Octobris 2009 (UTC)
