Salve, Isidore!

Gratus in Vicipaediam Latinam acciperis!

Ave! Spero te "Vicipaedianum" fieri velle!

Salve, Ioshus!

I hope you speak English, because I admit I'm not very familiar with the vernacular. I think I clicked on the wrong button when I was trying to create this account. I notice that you too are "disputatio". Was that me? Isidorus 18:44, 6 Aprilis 2007 (UTC)Reply

ROFL! I think the meaning of "disputatio" clicked into place shortly after I posted that! Salve, salve! Isidorus 18:48, 6 Aprilis 2007 (UTC)Reply

I speak plenty of english, my friend. Welcome here.--Ioshus (disp) 19:34, 6 Aprilis 2007 (UTC)Reply
And you can change the interface by going up to praeferentiae meaa and changing lingua tua to en. Cheers.--Ioshus (disp) 19:35, 6 Aprilis 2007 (UTC)Reply
Yep, I already did that, thanks. I'm currently trying to work out how to set myself up as Babel en-N and other languages -1 and below! Isidorus 19:46, 6 Aprilis 2007 (UTC)Reply
I have started one way, you can just keep adding |xx and they will appear in the order you place them. Or you can take a look at my user page to see how to customize your own =] --Ioshus (disp) 19:57, 6 Aprilis 2007 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, my page looked weird there as I was editing it... thanks. Isidorus 20:04, 6 Aprilis 2007 (UTC)Reply
Oh, I was meaning to ask... what's en-(infinity) on your page? Isidorus 20:08, 6 Aprilis 2007 (UTC)Reply
I was just being quirky, I suppose. I figure, infinity is as high as you can get, and I am a native English speaker (though I grew up speaking Italian and Sicilian too), so if the other languages are to be measured on a scale of numbers, native should be infinity because you cant get higher than infinity. You'll see the rest of my grades for my abilities approxmate numbers, which I like, or find interesting, that approximate 0-3. Plus, I wrote Infinitas, an article of which I am particularly proud. (though I have to give major thanks to Iustinus for his tremendous support through the writing process of that article) and I thought it would be nice to link it in my Babel box.--Ioshus (disp) 20:13, 6 Aprilis 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well, in an ideal world, everyone would speak and write his or her native language perfectly, but it ain't so.
What's with la-(pi) and it-(3^.9) and the other symbols? Isidorus 23:24, 6 Aprilis 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well, again. pi=~=3.14 so I'm la-3, 3^.9 is a little less than three, so I'm it-more than 2, 3^.8 is even further from 3, so again I'm es-more than 2 but less than it. Etc, etc down to imaginary i for fr, and 1/4 for de because I understand every 4th word in German. I'm just being, as I said, quirky =] Make sense?--Ioshus (disp) 01:52, 7 Aprilis 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hey, I'm en-5, and I wouldn't claim infinity until I'd memorized the OED and then some! ;) IacobusAmor 02:11, 7 Aprilis 2007 (UTC)Reply
