Salve, Haruspex~lawiki!

Ave! Spero te "Vicipaedianum" aut "Vicipaedianam" fieri velle!

Liberus esto quaestiones seu aerumnas ullas me petere. Gratus es apud nos!--Ioshus Rocchio 20:45, 6 Iunii 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Alkinum recensere

In Alkinum you made interwiki links to categories ... did you do this intentionally? ;-) --Roland2 20:48, 7 Iunii 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

It was just because it was done like that in Alkanum, too. I have not been sure about if there was a reaso for that and how to handle it, so i just added these links because i thought this was better than no links at all. But I'll change it immediately. Thank you for the hint. :) --Haruspex 22:08, 7 Iunii 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Thanks :-) --Roland2 22:33, 7 Iunii 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Interwiki links recensere

I see you are heavily engaged in interwiki links, which is a good idea. :-) I just want to tell you, that it should suffice - on the long run - to add just one interwiki link, because there are some Vicipaedia:bots which will add the missing interwiki links after some time. I could not verify it, however, the bot owners are claiming this. ;-) If you have added an interwiki link, you might remove the {{nexus carentes}} template, which indicates that a page has no interwiki links. Happy linking ... --Roland2 23:45, 7 Iunii 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Thanks again. :) Next time I'll remove the template. For now I think I will go on adding other languages, its not so much more work, but maybe I'll soon be tired of that. ^^ The nexus templates are not added automatically, are they? BTW, on your userpage I saw the translator, thanks for that, too. :) --Haruspex 00:43, 8 Iunii 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]
The {{Nexus carentes}} are added by hand. The {{dubcat}} as well. ;-) --Roland2 01:19, 8 Iunii 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]
OK, thanks again. :) --Haruspex 02:57, 8 Iunii 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

minor edits recensere

At the bottom of an editing page is a bar in which you can summarize your edits, I notice you do a lot of interlinking, could you begin to make a brief explanation of your minor edits in the summary bar, it would save other users the time of going in and seeing waht is different. Kepp up the good work, though!--Ioshus Rocchio 03:29, 10 Iunii 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

OK, I'll do it from now on. :) --Haruspex 03:37, 10 Iunii 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Gratias tibi ago recensere

Hey, thanks for the interwiki links on 4 Martii. I was too lazy to do it myself and figured a bot would come around and do it for me. So thanks for being a living person that did it. Sinister Petrus 03:48, 14 Iunii 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

vulgo-link in Hibernia recensere

Maybe a comment on the interwiki links like in [1]. I confess that it is redundant to write: Hibernia (Theodisce: Irland), since Irland would be normally in the interwiki section. It did not invent that, however, I has some advantages. For example, the author has full control over that link, since no bot will modify it. I think we should have a recommendation about such links, maybe on page Vicipaedia:Nexus ... ;-) --Roland2 07:49, 15 Iunii 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Yes, a bot cannot modify it, in titles like Atlanta, Georiga (America) or something, it can be abbreviated to Atlanta in sentences where context allows. It is also useful to be able to read about something in it's language of origin. I found some pages marked this way on the italian wikipedia, and immediately thought it was a good idea. I don't see any reason not to make smart use of mediawiki software, if we can do something simple in the first sentence of an article to make the broad interlingual superwikipedia more navigable. Does this make sense?--Ioshus Rocchio 22:25, 15 Iunii 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Wikibook: Latin recensere

Hi, I hope you speaks German very well: Bitte schau dir mal foldende Diskussion unter Disputatio:Ars docendi an.
-- 07:33, 19 Iulii 2006 (UTC)Reply[reply]
