Interwiki links recensere

Is it OK to write in English? It's quicker for me! As I think you know, when you add a new article it's necessary to verify whether a parallel article exists on another wikipedia. If so, then, as with Reifferscheid, you can add links on the Latin page to the existing articles (to de: and nl: in this case). Fine; but it is also important to edit one of those other pages to add a link to your new Latin article. Once that's done, the bots keep the links up to date automatically. I have now done this: I have added a link to la: on the de: article about Reifferscheid.

There's another thing. If you have verified that there is no article on any other wiki about this topic you should add {{Nexus absunt}} at the foot of the page. If you are uncertain, you should add {{Nexus desiderati}}, and then someone else will try to check. But often it is best for the first author to verify this question.

Forgive me if you knew all this already! I just noticed that there was no link to la: yet on the de: article about Reifferscheid. But I now see that usually you have made all these links, just as I suggest. No problem, then! Best wishes ... Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 12:22, 1 Octobris 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi Andrew, I try to add these interwiki links to my articles but it is somtimes difficult as 1 German article de:Kupferhof summarizes a couple of buildings. That is the reason why not all articles can be linked. But adding {{Nexus absunt}} should not be a problem. As I wrote plenty of articles about this subject in the German and Ripuarian Wikipedia finding the corresponding links will not cause any problems.

Currently I am a little bit frustrated as there are still lots of mistakes in my articles. Maybe I will reduce writing in the next days. I will think about that. Best wishes --~~BBKurt 12:41, 1 Octobris 2008 (UTC)Reply

No, no: keep writing! The only way we learn is by making mistakes! IacobusAmor 13:25, 1 Octobris 2008 (UTC)Reply
I agree with Iacobe. Keep writing, BBK! It's a co-operative project, as you know. Everyone makes mistakes, everyone makes comments. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 13:52, 1 Octobris 2008 (UTC)Reply

I will do my best. :-)--~~BBKurt 13:39, 1 Octobris 2008 (UTC)Reply
