novis
recensereJust like in spanish, this word is just a regular adjective novus, nova, novum. You might consider using this template {{tiro}} on your pages if you are unsure of your latinitas. It lets people know that you are a beginner in latin, and asks people to correct mistakes and explain them to you. Good luck!--Ioshus (disp) 14:22, 10 Ianuarii 2007 (UTC)
Edittools
recensereAhah! Thanks! I'd been wondering how to do that recently. What kind of characters woudl you like to see in the edittools? On a similar note: do you know how to edit the shortcut buttons that appear above the box? --Iustinus 05:04, 13 Ianuarii 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, I was thinking that to start I could copy the first half or so of the English version, moving macron/breve vowels to the top. Eventually I'll have to tackle Greek, though, because the English version isn't polytonic. Also we'll need to import some of those templates too. --Iustinus 06:46, 13 Ianuarii 2007 (UTC)
- Editing the shortcut buttons that appear above the box: This requires adding JavaScript code to MediaWiki:common.js. See en:MediaWiki:common.js (look for the section that starts with "Extra toolbar options"). Button pictures should be at commons:Category:ButtonToolbar. If you are unsure about JavaScript, just tell me which additional buttons you would like to have, or discuss this at Disputatio MediaWiki:common.js. --UV 02:44, 14 Ianuarii 2007 (UTC)
- Antur, sorry for abusing your talk page again, but this is on a related note. MediaWiki:common.js now calls MediaWiki:onlyifediting.js which contains the appropriate code. We can discuss about the buttons we want to have at Disputatio MediaWiki:onlyifediting.js or at any other appropriate place. Greetings, --UV 15:49, 14 Ianuarii 2007 (UTC)
if you say your latin is minimal....
recensere...you might consider using a babel box on your user page. Minimal Latin is ok. Appreciation for the project is what matters. You might talk to Rolandus. He earned sysop here, despite claiming to be la-1. =] --Ioshus (disp) 06:33, 14 Ianuarii 2007 (UTC)
mediawiki
recensereHi Antur...I encourage you to write any comments regarding mediawiki in the disputatio of the mediawikipage itself. While the page may be protected, the disputatio won't. That way we can keep discussions localized in the appropriate disputatio pages. Thanks!--Ioshus (disp) 06:56, 14 Ianuarii 2007 (UTC)
- No, it didn't upset me at all. I just
- want you to feel comfortable making public proposals (especially if they are as good an idea as what you have proposed)
- want pertinent discussions about mediawiki pages on mediawiki pages. often we find ourselves indiscrimant here about where we discuss a certain matter. We should start keeping better track. (you have just joined us at a moment when this issue is starting to take, so to speak)
- saw your comment "I cant´t try in Vicipaedia because "Haec pagina dat textum interfaciei pro logiciali, et est protecta ad vandalismum vetandum" :-)." here.

Hola
Gracias.--80.36.68.39 21:13, 14 Octobris 2007 (UTC)
