Physeter macrocephalus est maximus odontocetus et maximus praedator dentatus, sola viva generis Physeteri species atque una ex tribus exstantibus familiae Physeteridarum speciebus, cum Kogia brevicipitis et Kogia sima generis Kogiae. Physeter macrocephalus est mammale marinum quod in omnibus orbis terrarum oceanis habitat. Variis temporibus ad vescendum et feturam pariendam procul migrat.[2] Iuvenes aliquando a gregibus orcarum necantur.
