recensereNata est Dolly Rebecca Parton die 19 Ianuarii 1946 in casa unius conclavis ad ripas fluvii Little Pigeon prope Pittman Center Tennesiae, commune minutum in Sevier Comitatu in Magnis Montibus Fumosis Tennesiae Orientalis.[1] Dolly est quarta e duodecim liberis, matre Avie Lee Caroline (nata Owens; 1923–2003), patre Roberto Lee Parton (1921–2000). Pater, Lee usitate appellatus, in montibus Tennesiae Orientalis laborabat, olim sharecropper? et tum suum praedium parvum terrasque curans. Etiam varios quaestus minores faciebat, paupertatis causá. [2][3] Legere non poterat.[4]
Plus quam tria milia carminum composuit. Stella nonnullarum pellicularum et programmatum televisificorum est. Insigne Artium Nationale ei anno 2006 concessum est. Novem praemia Grammy et permulta praemia honoresque alios accepit.
