Columbarium (aedificium)
Columbarium est aedificium ad alendas columbas destinatum. Columbaria structurae esse possunt quadratae vel rotundae libere stantes vel ad latus domus vel horrei adfixae. Ea plerumque foramina columbarum continent, in quibus aves nidos facere possunt.[1] Columbae olim fuerunt fons cibi magni momenti in Europa Occidentali, pro ovis, carne, stercore altae.[2] In urbanis Scotiae regionibus hodiernis, columbae iam in columbariis late aluntur.
