Geometria Euclidea
Geometria Euclidea[1] est ratio mathematica, quae Euclides Alexandrinus in Elementis, libro de geometria, descripsit. Modus Euclidis consistit in axiomatibus ponendis ex quibus multa theoremata concludit. Conclusiones Euclidis, quamquam partim a prioribus mathematicis expositae, ab Euclide primum in una ampla ratione logica ordinatae sunt. Elementa incipiunt geometriâ plani, quae ratio axiomatica, inductio in demonstrationes mathematicas, etiamnunc in ludis docetur. Deinde ad geometriam solidam trium dimensionum procedit. Magna Elementorum pars propositiones continet, lingua geometrica explicatas, quae hodie partes algebrae et theoriae numerorum habentur.
