Carcinosarcoma
Carcinosarcoma est eodem tempore praesentia et carcinomatis (epithelio derivati) et sarcomatis (mesenchymate derivati). Carcinosarcomata tumores rari sunt. In compluribus organibus ut cute[1], glandulis salivariis[2], pulmonibus[3], oesophago[4], pancreate[5], colo[6], utero[7], ovariis[8] nonnumquam inveniri queant.

Carcinosarcomatum origo incerta restat, itaque adhuc hypotheses quattuor dari solent:
- Tumorum collisio — Tumores duo (carcinoma et sarcoma) in neoplasma singulare coalescent'.
- Tumorum compositio — Sarcoma reactio praesentiae carcinomatis est.
- Tumorum combinatio — A cellula neoplasmatica progenitore singulari cellulae et carcinomatosae et sarcomatosae oriuntur.
- Tumoris conversio — Intra carcinoma cellulae carcinomatosae transformationem metaplasticam passae sunt[9].
Mutationes geneticae ad carcinosarcomata formanda putatur, per exemplum in uteri carcinosarcomatibus mutationes proteini p53 nexus etiam ad proteinum FBXW7 et enzymum phosphoinositidi 3 kinasem indicaverunt[10].
