Trichiuridae
Trichiuridae sunt familia piscium classis Actinopterygiorum et cladi Pelagiariorum. Huius familiae species Trichiurus lepturus, T. gangeticus, Aphanopus carbo, Lepturacanthus pantului, L. savala, Tentoriceps cristatus ad commercium capiuntur.

Species Trichiuridarum antiquissimae variae referuntur, dentes generis Eutrichiuridis stadii Danii in Angolia et Algerio reperti, scheletum eiusdem generis ex argilla Londinensi stadii Ypresii, scheletum generis alii ex eodem stadio in sedimento Italico.[1][2]
