Saccostrea glomerata est species bivalvium familiae Ostreidarum ad litora Australiae et Novae Zelandiae sponte gignens et ad comedendum collecta. Circum Sydneium Australiae iam ab anno 1872 colitur. Ibidem variis modis ad comedendum paratur.
