Pridi Phanomyong rebus iuridicus et politicis apud Sorbonam Lutetiae studuit, philosophiam politicam et oeconomicam Augusti Deschamps et Caroli Gide imbibit et amicitiam cum aliis discipulis confecit, inter quos Plaek Khittasangkha, Vichitr Vadakarn, Chom Churaratana, phra Sarasat Praban, Prayun Pamornmontri, Sindhu Songkhramchai. Anno 1927 in regnum reditus in ministerio iustitiae meruit; eodem tempore cum amicis res novas movere se paravit, dieque 24 Iunii 1932 monarchiam absolutam Siamensem everterunt. Mense Martio anni 1933 schema oeconomicum cooperativum Pridi proposuit, quo a sociis reiecto in exsilium missus est.
