Pastillum ostrearum in Anglia et Francia duobus stylis parari solet. Primo stylo ostreae singulae aliaque impensa pauca parvis pastillis involvuntur Anglice olim chewets, recentius patties, Francogallice petits pâtés vel bouchées appellatis. Secundo stylo ostreae plures una cum iusculo in pastillum magnum immittuntur. Tali stylo nonnumquam altera res principalis cum ostreis commiscere licet ut per exemplum in pastillo bubulo ostrearumque.
