Parsi
Parsi[1] (Persice پارسیان Pārsiān 'Persici') sunt ethnoreligiosus subcontinentis Indicae grex hominum, quorum religio est Zoroastrismus. Eorum maiores e terris Iranicis ad hanc regionem migraverunt post saeculum septimum, cum Musulmani Iraniam vincerent. Primi enim sunt e duobus gregibus magnis qui sic excesserunt, quorum alius fuit Irani, qui ad subcontinentem migrabant aliquot saecula postquam domus Qajar? potestatem in Persia arripuerat. Secundum Qissa-i Sanjan, epicum Zoroastrium, Parsi e regno Sassanidarum lapso ad Guzaratam inter saecula octavum et decimum iam profiscebantur, asylum petentes, e periculis persecutionis aevo primarum victoriarum Musulmanicarum evadentes.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8]
Tempore Persiae a Musulmanis nuper devictae, pervulgata regionis religio erat Zoroastrismus, cultus Iraniae proprius, qui religioni publicae regni Sassanidarum proderat. Aliquot personae magni momenti, sicut Babak Khorramdin, contra exercitus caliphatus Rasidun? posteriorumque caliphatuum Musulmanicorum paene ducentos annos rebellabant,[10] cum alii eorum identitates religiosas conservare volebant, ex Irania ad Indiam eodem tempore effugientes.[11]
Secundum censum Indiae anni 2011, erant in India 57 264 Parsi.[12][13]
