Ioannes Meginhardus Keynes, vulgo John Maynard Keynes (1883–1946), alumnus Collegii Etonensis moxque Collegii Regalis apud Cantabrigienses, fuit oeconomiae peritus Anglicus et legatus Britanniae de deliberationibus de pace componenda Lutetiae anno 1919 factis. Oeconomia Keynesiana est doctrina macrooeconomiae cui illius oeconomici nomen datum est.

Libro suo notissimo, qui The General Theory of Employment, Interest and Money inscribitur, Keynes discrimen oeconomicum procreari incremento compendii privatorum et circumcisione sumptuum negotiorum et patefieri per eos qui sine opere sint adfirmat. Qua de causa secundum oeconomicum Keynesianum, civitati perseverandum est in sumptibus publicis, ut bonorum petitio in mercatu reducat numerum eorum, qui sine opere sunt.
Doctrina oeconomica Keynesiana post magnam depressionem oeconomicam annis sub 1929 in Civitatibus Foederatis a Praeside Franklino Delano Roosevelt imposita est, unde ad totum orbem terrarum per multos annos diffusa est, maxime ad Europam Occidentalem, ubi, post secundum bellum mundanum, constituta est civitas quae beneficia in omnes confert.
Ineuntibus annis 1980 pro placitis Keynesianis substituta est doctrina Puerorum Sicagiensium (Anglice Chicago Boys) ut appellabantur, quorum dux fuit Miltonius Friedman, qui mercatui intervenire civitati non licere contendebant.
Recessione anni 2008 in Civitatibus Foederatis Praesidis Bush, fautoris doctrinae magistri Miltonii Friedman, concessa sunt argentariis et societatibus autocinetorum faciendorum decies milies centena milia dollariorum, et doctrina Keynesiana detegi novi coepit.
