Ioannes Ruskin
Ioannes Ruskin (1819–1900) fuit praeclarissimus scriptor Anglicus, etiam sapiens, humanitatum litterarumque existimator, poeta, et artifex, cuius opera de arte architecturaque auctoritatem et potentiam Aevo Victoriano habuerunt.
Vita
recensereNatus est Londini die 8 Februarii 1819, patre vini mercatore. Domi et postea apud Universitatem Oxoniensem doctus est. Sua studia erant vaga, sed praemium Newgate poesis, quae ars ei interfuit, cepit, itaque, cum valde aeger esset, gradu quarto laureatus universitati est. Mortuus est die 20 Ianuarii 1900.
