Ctenidae
Ctenidae, vulgo araneae errantes appellatae, sunt familia aranearum infraordinis Araneomorpharum. Nonnulli species generis Phoneutriae sunt hostilissimae[1] venenosaeque venatores nocturnales, solaeque araneae errantes quae hominibus minari possunt. Venena autem aliorum huius familiae generum minime indagata sunt,[2] quod significat omnes Ctenidas maiores pedetemptim appropinquandas esse. Nonnullis Ctenidis sunt maculae et exemplaria visu speciosa. Omnibus est longa stria propria supra carapacem posteriorem[3]; nonnullis autem araneis aliis, inter quas Amaurobiidae, est stria similis.
