Boso Higgsianus
Boso Higgsianus[1] est particula elementaria, nominatim boson, qui forte comperta est adiumento Collisoris Hadronalis Magni, maximi orbis terrarum particularum acceletorii. Die 4 Iulii anno 2012 nuntiatum est nova particula elementaria inventa esse, quam physici bosonem Higgsianum esse existimant.[2]
Boso nomen accepit a Petro Higgs, physico Britannico, qui talem bosonem iam annis 1960 exstare praedixit. Quam ob rem praemium Nobelianum physicae die 10 Decembris anni 2013 ei ac Francisco Englert collegae concessum est. Nomen Higgsianum, quamquam cum hac theoria (mechanismo Higgsiano) late consociatur, nonnulli investigatores inter 1960 et 1972 fere varias theoriae partes suo arbitrio excogitabant.
Boso Higgsianus a diurnariis aliisque in mediis late distributis particula dei saepe appellatur, ex libro de hac re anno 1993 edito,[3] sed hoc agnomen multis physicis haud placet, inter quos Higgs ipse, qui id exemplum sensationalismi appellat.[4][5]
