Tribus : Antilocaprini
Genus : Antilocapra
Species : Antilocapra americana[1]
Aevo Pleistocaeno, circa duodecim species in America Septentrionali vigebant.[5] Tria alia genera (Capromeryx,[6][7] Stockoceros,[8][9] et Tetrameryx[10]) exstabant cum homines sapientes in Americam Septentrionalem intrarent, sed nunc exstinctae sunt.
Antilocapra americana est signum Societatis Mammologistarum Americanae.[11]
