Sprul-pa (Tibetane: སྤྲུལ་པ sprul-pa, pronuntiatione tulpa; Sanscrite: निर्मित nirmita[1] aut potius निर्माण nirmāṇa[2] 'aedificare, construere') in mysticismo est notio entitatis vel rei quae solum per disciplinam generatur, cogitatio realis facta, quae sibi speciem physicam adsumpsit et idem qui cogitatum (vel ad verbum forma cogitationis, Anglice thoughtform) usitate habetur.[3]

Tulpa est upaya (disciplina et doctrina spirituales), notio in Buddhismo Tibetano et Bon habita. Locutio thoughtform, tam nove quam 1927 in Tibetano Mortuorum Libro ab Gualterio Evans-Wentz converso Anglice adhibita, sic describitur: "entitatem palpabilem rei excogitatae dans, accuratissime eodem modo quo architectus solidas proprietates operum lineamentis luce impressis in tribus dimensionibus dat."[4]

Ioannes Myrdhin Reynolds, suam vitam Garab Dorje Anglice conversam adnotans, tulpa sic definit:

Nirmita (sprul-pa) est emanatio vel manifestatio. Buddha vel alia entitas realizata multas Nirmitas tales per infinita formarum varietate eodem tempore emittere potest.[5] Locutio etiam in operibus Alexandrae David-Néel adhibetur, quae dixit se tulpam generavisse qui ad realem Friar Tuck monachi hilaris speciem accessit, qui deinde eius vitam propriam evolvens delendus est.[6]
