Tetrasquilla (a Graeco τετρα- 'quattuor' + nomine generico Squilla) est genus Stomatopodorum cui est una species, Tetrasquilla mccullochae, solum stomatopus pantropicum notum.[3] Nomen specificum Irenam A. McCulloch, professorem zoologiae in Universitate Californiae Meridianae commemorat.[4]
