Syzygium jambos
Syzygium jambos est species arborum fructiferarum in Asia austro-orientali sponte crescens, alibi propter fructus edules et flores culta, in America media et australi necnon insulis Havaiiorum et Reunionis invasiva. Binomen ab Arthuro Alston anno 1931 statutum est[1] post Carolum Linnaeum, qui sub nomine Eugenia jambos anno 1753 descripserat.
