Summa facultatum diversarum plantarum
Summa facultatum diversarum plantarum (Arabice كتاب الجامع لأشتات النبات, plenius كيتاب الجامع لصفات أشتات النبات وضروب أنواع المفردات (Kitāb al-ǧāmiʿ li ṣifāt aštāt al-nabāt wa-ḍurūb anwāʿ al-mufradāt, scilicet "Summa facultatum diversarum plantarum specierumque variarum simplicium medicamentorum") est opus de plantis medicinalibus medio saeculo XII scriptum ab Edrisio, erudito Arabico Siciliano.
Quod opus Arabice tantum usque hodie divulgatum est. Duae recensiones exstant, quae ambae in editione fac-simile a Fuat Sezgin(de) collegisque anno 1995 divulgata legi possunt. Recensio Constantinopolitana (MS. Fātiḥ 3610) descriptiones plantarum vel simplicium 610 continet.[1] Quaque descriptione nomina in linguis fere duodecim subiunguntur. Recensio Teheranensis (MS. Majlis-i Sanā 18120), nominibus plurilinguibus omissis, fontes rerum botanicarum pharmacologicarumque nominatim citat.[2]
Glossaria recensionis Constantinopolitanae linguas Hebraicam, Syriacam, Latinam, Hispanicam, Arabicam Siciliae, Arabicam Vandalitiae, Francogallicam, Graecam, Hindicam, Persicam, Carduchicam, Turcicam, Libycam, vel Barbaricam comprehendit.[3]
Fortuna
recensereLiber Edrisii saepe ab Ebenbitar citatur in opere suo maiori de simplicibus medicinis, titulo Kitāb al-ǧāmiʿ li-mufradāt al-adwiya wa-'l-aġḏiya, medio saeculo XIII scripto. A posterioribus hunc librum Edrisii deperditum fuisse censebatur, inter quos ab Ernesto Meyer(de) qui nihilominus cognitiones botanicas in opere geographico Edrisii monstratas laudavit.[4] Helimutus Ritter(de) Germanus, Constantinopoli in exsilio propter homosexualitatem degens, manuscriptum ibi latentem anno 1928 repperit collegaque Max Meyerhof(de) indicavit (qui et ille, e stirpe Iudaeo ortus, mox e Germania fugerit). Meyerhof, manuscripto ope photographematum perlecto, commentationes plures de opere Edrisii edidit.[5] Denuo Fuat Sezgin (qui iuvenis apud Universitatem Istanbulensem discipulus fuerat Helimuti Ritter), manuscriptum Teheranensem primus indicavit annoque 1995 editionem fac-simile divulgare curavit.
