Subantarctica
Subantarctica est regio in Hemisphaerio Australi sub septentriones regionis Antarcticae sita. Hic locus fere latitudinem habet inter 46° et 60° australes aequatoris. Regioni subantarcticae sunt multae insulae in australibus oceanorum Indici, Atlantici, Pacifici partibus, praecipue eae ad septentriones Coitus Antarctici versus iacentes. Glaciaria subantarctica, secundum definitionem, in insulis intra regionem subantarcticam patent; omnia autem glaciaria quae in ipso continente Antarctica iacent, secundum definitionem, glaciaria antarctica putantur.
