L'Orfeo (SV 318), aliquando L'Orfeo, favola in musica ('Orpheus, fabula in musica') appellata, est opera aetatis Barocae novae a Claudio Monteverdi apud libellum Italianum Alexandri Striggio composita. Argumentum, in legendo Graeco Orphei conditum, fabulam enarrat Orphei descensus in Hades, eiusque conatum inutilem ad Eurydicen novam nuptam in mundum vivum ferendam. Opera, pro repraesentatione annua per Carnelevarium in curia ducali Mantuae anno 1607 confectum, est unum ex primis dramatum musicorum iam constanter perfunctis.
