Historia Croatiae
Historia Croatiae in ducatu Croatiae? ducatuque Croatiae Pannonicae? incipere commode habetur,[1] binis ducatibus Slavicis saeculo septimo coniunctis ut regnum Croatiae fierent, quod ab anno 925 usque ad annum 1918 duravit. Quod regnum in coniunctionem personalem cum regno Hungariae saeculo duodecimo intravit, civitas autem sui iuris manens, cui erat rector (Croatice ban) et parlamentum (sabor), sed suas domus regias e potestatibus propinquis, praecipue regnis Hungariae et Neapolis ac monarchia Habsburgensi eligebat.
Diocletianus, imperator Romanus, in Dalmatia regione natus, se ab imperio removens, magnum palatium prope Salonam aedificavit, ex quo Spalatum urbs hodierna exorta est.[2][3]
Croatia a saeculo quinto decimo ad saeculum septimum decimum cum Imperio Ottomanico vehementer certabat. Croatia autem in dicione Iugoslaviae plurimo saeculi vicensimi redacta libertatem anno 1991 recuperavit.
