Egressus Suecicus (Anglice Swedes' Landing) est via oneraria secundum Minquas Kill Vilmingtoniae Delevariae secundum Flumen Delavaria transiens. Hic fuit situs ubi primus egressus Suecicus factus est, locumque ubi colonia Nova Suecia coepit designat. Prima expeditio Suecica ad Americam Septentrionalem destinata, Petro Minuit duce, ex portu Gothoburgo anno 1637 exeunte digressa est. Participes expeditionis in navibus Fogel Grip et Kalmar Nyckel in Sinum Delevariam navigaverunt, in regione autem quae intra territorium a Nederlandia postulatum patuit, capita May et Henlopen Martio 1638 exeunte transientes,[1] et sese ad ancoras 29 Martii 1638 deligantes, in promontorium saxosum in Minquas Kill quod hodie Egressus Suecorum appellatur navibus egressi sunt. Arcem ad hodiernum Vilmingtoniae situm aedificaverunt, quam Arcem Christinam ex Regina Christina appellaverunt.[2]
