Hm ... the problem is, that we try to avoid uploading pictures to the Latin Wikipedia. So we can avoid issues with copyrights and licenses. The recommended way is to upload pictures to "Commons", see {{Imaginibus}}. On page http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:First_steps you'll find instructions in several languages, how to upload an image. However, I think it will not be possible to get the rights for uploading this Sgt. Pepper picture to Commons. The English Wikipedia has lesser requirements than Commons, so you will find such pictures there, but not on Commons. You can (technically) upload it to the Latin Wikipedia, but because of the missing license it is likely to be deleted. I fear you will not get the rights to use the picture. You have also to provide an email address yourself. Go to "Praeferentiae meae" and configure your email adress and check the checkbox which says something like that you accept emails. Then it should work. --Rolandus 22:42, 7 Februarii 2007 (UTC)

Requirunt vs requiruntur

Leo, it's easier to deal with this with the help of a second language. Is English OK?

Requiro means "I require, I need". That's why the sentence "Omnia computatra quibus utimur systema administrativum requiruntur" makes sense. It means "All computers that we use need an operating system."

Requiror means "I am needed" (necesse, as you put it). If you want to use requiror, you have to change the sentence round completely, because passive verbs can't take a direct object. So you have to say "Systema administrativum requiritur ab omnibus computatris quibus utimur", or, in English, "An operating system is needed by all the computers that we use."

Latín como lengua internacional

Hola, mi pregunta no tiene nada que ver con esta wikipedia. No sé si estarás familiarizado con las ideas y proyectos de una lengua franca mundial, tal como el esperanto, el ido, etc. El problema es que estas lenguas son artificiales, han sido creadas de manera que son muy simples y fáciles de aprender. Pero esto resta naturalidad a la lengua, algunas como el esperanto llegan a ser extremadamente simplificadas. Debido a esto, otras personas opinan que lo mejor es adoptar una lengua muerta, como el latín. ¿Crees que el latín puede servir como lengua franca internacional? ¿Es muy difícil aprenderlo? ¿Cuál es tu opinión?

Hola, quienquiera que seas, pues la verdad, el latin como lengua internacional..no sé..es que, vaya, eso de lenguas internacionales es algo muy utópico..casi irrealizable, ahi tenemos el esperanto que tiene 120 años intentando alcanzar esa meta y ya ves...

pero, respecto a el latin, pues, primero: es algo dificil, y su estudio lleva varios años: además...tiene varias épocas, asi que tenemos que definir qué latín utilizariamos como tal, como lengua franca...o el clásico,que es el latin culto,con ritmo,el que se intenta escribir en esta wikipedia...o el eclésiastico, que tiene casi el mismo lexico que el clasico, pero con significados y pronunciacion ya modificados, mas parecidos a los de las lenguas romanicas modernas.Asi que es un poco lioso, además de ser lengua muerta, que complica mas las cosas..ya que tenemos que estar 'inventando' vocabulario y demas...
