Congressus Civitatum Foederatarum

Congressus Civitatum Foederatarum est bicameralis gubernationis foederalis Civitatum Foederatarum potestas legifera, quae in binis domibus, Senatu et Domu Repraesentantium, consistit. Legati Congressionales in Capitolio Vasingtoniae in Districtu Columbiae sito coire solent. Repraesentantes et senatores per electionem rectam eliguntur, sed vacuitates in Senatu per creationem a gubernatore civitatis fungi possunt. Legati plerumque ad factionem Republicanam vel Democraticam pertinent, et rarissime ad factionem tertiam vel ut politici libri. Omni Congressui sunt 535 legati suffragium habentes: 435 repraesentantes et centum senatores.

Legati Domus Repraesentantium spatium magistratus binorum annorum sustinent, quoque legato incolas unius constituentiae repraesentante. Quaeque constituentia, districtus usitate appellata, civitatibus distribuitur per repraesentationem per incolas secundum tabulas Census Civitatum Foederatarum, dummodo cuique civitati sit saltem unus repraesentans congressionalis. Cuique civitati, omissis numeris incolarum et magnitudine geographica, sunt bini senatores; ergo centum senatores quinquaginta civitates hodie repraesentant. Quisque senator in tota eius civitate spatio magistratus senorum annorum eligitur, spatiis imbricatis ut quoque biennio tertia fere pars Senatus eligatur.
