Communitas studii
Communitas studii vel studiorum[1] est communitas hominum qui studium vel cupiditatem communiter partiunt, ac commercium notionum et cogitationum de illa cupiditate habent, sed extra hac provincia cognoscere (aut adeo amare) inter se non semper possunt. Societas in communitate studii necessaria vel festiva esse potest, et communitatem creare potest "viscosam," ubi homines saepe rediunt et diu manent. Saepe per quamdam regionem geographicam facile definiri non possunt. Ad summam, "communitas studii est conventus hominum circa res communis studii convocatorum. Eius sodales communitati intersunt ut data dent et accipiant, ut responsa quaestionum vel difficultatum eliciant, ut eorum intellectum cuiusdam rei meliorem faciant, ut cupiditates communes partiant, vel ut ludant."[2] Contra communitatem spatialem, "definitur communitas studii non spatio, sed quodam vinculo (e.g. sensu iuncturae) vel more communi (e.g. (agricultura, grege ecclesiastico)."[3]
