Bay Psalm Book
Bay Psalm Book ('Liber psalmorum sinús') fuit primus liber in Britannica America Septentrionali primusque liber Anglicus in Novo Mundo prolatus. Liber est psalterium, primum anno 1640 Cantabrigiae Massachusettae impressus. Psalmi in eo contenti in Anglicam poemata metrica conversi sunt, quorum nonnulla paene sunt versus inculti et nulla in usu manent, quamquam nonnullae eorum melodiae iam canuntur (exempli gratia, "Old 100th"). Productio libri, viginti tantum annos post Peregrinatores Plimmutam advenierant, confectio conspicua fuit. Nonnullas habuit editiones, et in usu plus quam centum annos mansit.[1][2][3]
Vesperi diei 26 Novembris 2013, Bay Psalm Book factum est pretiossimus liber umquam prolatus, cum unum ex undecim exemplis exstantibus $14.2 milionibus apud Sotheby's Manhatae Novi Eboraci venitus esset.[4]
