Axius serratus est species crustaceorum familiae Axiidarum in Canada et Civitatibus Foederatis reperta, ante litus Atlanticum a Nova Scotia ad Terram Mariam endemica.[2] In regionibus tam pollutis quam alia animalia benthica superare non possunt habitare potest.[3]
