Arsinoe II (Graece Ἀρσινόη), regina Aegypti, fuit filia Ptolemaei I regis et Berenicae uxoris eius. Circa annum 300 a.C.n. regi Thraciae Lysimacho nupsit, et post eius mortem (anno 281) fratri suo Ptolemaeo Cerauno; quo anno 279 mortuo, Arsinoe in Aegyptum venit. Hic celeriter favorem fratris, rex Ptolemaeus II sui adepta ei ante annum 274 nupsit, postquam uxorem suam, Arsinoen I, in exilium misit. Fuit ter Olympionica (auriga, quadriga equorum, quadriga pullorum) anno seu 276 seu 272 a.C.n..[1] Anno 270 aut 268 mortua est.[2]
