Almanac Singers fuerunt grex musicus Americanus qui musicae vulgari ab 1940 ad 1943 favebat, Novi Eboraci in urbe a Millard Lampell, Lee Hays, Petro Seeger, et Woody Guthrie fundatus. Ut nomen significabat, eorum proprietas erat carmina eorum temporis, plerumque carmina quae philosophiae contra bellum, contra rassismum, et pro collegiis opificis serviebant. Pars revera erant Frontis Popularis, societatis liberalium et sinistristarum, inter quem Factio Communistica Civitatum Foederatarum erat (cuius sententiola, Earl Browder duce, fuit "Communismus est Americanismus saeculi vicensimi"[1]), qui dissensiones inter se praeterire statuerunt ut fascismum una pugnarent, patientiae phyleticae et religiosae faverent, et iura operariorum sustinerent. Almanac Singers credebant carmina hos fines conficere adiuvare posse.
