Universitas Naropana
Universitas Naropana,[1] Anglice Naropa University, est privata collegium artium liberalium Boulder Colorati in Civitatibus Foederatis situm. Condita est anno 1974 a Chögyam Trungpa, docente Buddhismi Thibetani et erudito Universitatis Oxoniensis, ex Naropa appellata, sapiente Indico Buddhistico saeculi undecimi et abbate Nalandae.
Universitas se describit institutum a Buddhismo inspiratum, oecumenicum et non sectarianum, potius Buddhisticum tantum.[2] Quod agitationibus non traditionalibus sicut meditatio ad traditionales eruditionis rationes amplificandas favet. Universitas poetis prostratis sub clientela Scholae Poeticarum Incorporalium Iacobi Kerouac acceptis innotuit.
Trungpa rogavit ut poetae Allen Ginsberg, Anna Waldman, Ioannes Cage, et Diana di Prima partem poesis in universitate per primum tempus aestivale conderent. Ginsberg et Waldman nomen Schola Poeticarum Incorporealium Iacobi Kerouac una excogitaverunt.[3] Prima formalia graduum programmata anno academico 1975–1976 constituta sunt. Inter haec fuerunt A.B. in studiis Buddhisticis et arte oculorum, M.A. in psychologia, MFA in arte oculorum, et testimonia artium expressivarum in saltatione, theatro, et poetica.
