Hubel,[1][2][3] Nobeliano Physiologiae aut Medicinae Praemio anno 1981 ornatus est, plerumque propter studium informationis in systemate visuali tractatae. Quod praemium cum Rogerio Sperry acceperunt[4] propter eius proprias hemisphaeriorum corticis cerebri investigationes.[5][6][7][8][9] Alma mater eius Institutum Karolinska fuit.
