Gilfordia fuit olim caput huius comitatús; caput administrationis hodie est Kingstonium (quamquam hoc oppidum extra limites comitatús iacet). Inter oppida Surriae praecipua sunt: Bletchingley, Great Bookham, Little Bookham, Burstow, Byfleet, Carshalton, Chertsey, Chiddingfold, Chipstead, Cobham, Cranleigh, Dorking, Eashing, Egham, Epsom, Ewell, Farnham, Gatton, Godalming, Godstone, Gomshall, Haslemere, Leatherhead, Merstham, Ockley, Reigate, Ripley, Shalford, Shere, Walton on Thames, Walton on the Hill, Wanborough, East Horsley, West Horsley, Weybridge, Witley, Woking, Wotton.
Magna pars comitatús geographici et historici Surriae hodie intra limites Londinii Maioris comprehenditur. Inter oppida olim Surriae, hodie Londinii, sunt Battersea, Bermondsey, Brixton, Camberwell, Cheam, Coulsdon, Croydon, Dulwich, Kew, Kingstonium, Lambethum, Merton, Mitcham, Putney, Richmondia, Rotherhithe, Southwark, Surbiton, Sutton, Wandsworth.
Locus excelsissimus huius comitatus est Leith Hill. Aeroportus alter Londiniensis in situ vici antiqui Gatwick constructus est.
