Stylometria est adhibitio studii styli linguistici, usitate ad linguam scriptam, sed aliquando ad musicam[1] et picturas artium elegantiorum, saepe cum statistica.[2] Stylometria ad auctorem documentis sine nomine aut recusatis attribuendis saepe adhibetur. Qui sunt adhibitiones legitimae, academicae, et litterariae, inter quas linguistica forensis et quaestio auctoris operum Shakesperii(en).

Historia

Stylometria ex rationibus textuum pro indiciis auctoritatis, scriptoris, aliarumque quaestionum enodatorum orta est. Exemplum primum est probatio Laurentii Vallae anni 1439 Constitutum Constantini fuisse subiectio, argumentum partim adversus Latinam in genuinis saeculi quarti instrumentis adhibitam.
