Societas Hakluyt (Hakluyt Society), anno 1846 Londinii condita, officium reclamat editionum divulgandarum librorum de peregrinationibus et explorationibus aut Anglice scriptorum aut in eam linguam conversorum. Nominatim commemorat Ricardum Hakluyt qui primus collectiones commentationum ab exploratoribus et mercatoribus scriptarum congessit et inter annos 1582 et 1600 edidit. Series librorum titulum habet Publications of the Hakluyt Society.
