Quo pro praemio anno 1942 instituto anno 1968 duo praemia diunariorum photographicorum reposita sunt: Praemium Pulitzer photographiae expressionis dicatum et "praemium Pulitzer photographiae nuntiorum localium dicatum", quod praemium Pulitzer photographiae nuntiorum instantium dicatum anno 2000 refectum est.
